Veraforma Advisory helps organizations prepare leaders for greater responsibility, strengthen teams, and build the systems around them so people are ready as the work grows, changes, and becomes more demanding.
That’s often the right place to begin.
You don’t need to define the problem or choose a service first.
Veraforma does not bring in a boxed leadership program and ask your organization to fit inside it. The work starts with your people, roles, operating environment, strengths, and goals. Established methods, evidence, and assessment tools are used where they add value. The approach is then built around what your organization actually needs.
Help people prepare for greater responsibility and keep developing once they are there.
That can include selection and promotion, succession, assessment and feedback, newly promoted leaders, and development tied to what a particular role actually requires.
Strong teams can deliberately improve how they communicate, coordinate, make decisions, raise concerns, learn, and adjust when conditions change.
That applies to operational teams, clinical teams, crews, and senior leadership teams.
Capable people still work inside systems.
How leaders are selected and developed, how information moves, how teams learn, and how an organization responds to growth or change all shape what people are able to do.
Research and assessment are useful when they lead to better decisions and better development.
Veraforma works with first responder organizations on the people side of consequential work, including officer development, leadership transition, crew and command-team performance, succession, and selection and promotion.
The goal is not to replace the operational knowledge and leadership experience already inside the organization. It is to help make development more deliberate, connected, and useful on the job.
Veraforma works with healthcare organizations developing physician, nursing, and operational leaders, strengthening teams, and helping leadership systems keep pace with growth, integration, and changing demands.
That may involve new managers, physician and nursing leaders, established leadership teams, or executives carrying greater responsibility.
Veraforma works on the human side of aviation, including leadership, human factors, communication, judgment, team performance, and the organizational conditions around them. The work complements technical and regulatory training rather than replacing it.
Veraforma also works with regulated and high-consequence organizations where technically capable people are moving into leadership, teams must coordinate reliably, and the systems around the people need to keep pace with growth or complexity.

A structured, independent review of leadership, team, and organizational conditions. It helps clarify what is working, where the organization may be getting in its own way, and what to focus on next.
Helps leaders build on the expertise they already have while developing the people, judgment, communication, accountability, and team-leadership skills greater responsibility requires.
Works with teams on communication, coordination, decision-making, learning, and performance. This can include senior or command leadership teams when strengthening the group as a whole is more useful than treating development as an individual issue.
Coaching grounded in assessment and clear development goals, focused on the responsibilities leaders actually carry.
Customized keynotes and workshops that turn evidence and cross-domain learning into useful ideas people can apply in their own environment.
Experience that translates across demanding environments
Dr. Silvia DeGirolamo has spent more than 20 years working with people, teams, programs, and systems in demanding environments.
Her background includes extensive work with U.S. Special Operations and military organizations, healthcare systems, executive coaching, human-performance programs, and organizational and program design. She has conducted more than 5,000 personnel assessments and contributed to NATO guidance on mental performance in Special Operations.
Veraforma draws on that experience without assuming one environment should copy another. The work is about translating useful evidence and lessons while respecting the expertise, culture, and realities already inside the organization.
Veraforma Advisory is based in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina and works nationally.
